For sizing on denim, we recommend going true to size to your waist size. For example, a size 32 in our denim is a 32-inch waist exactly. If you are also worried about the thigh, leg opening, or the rise measurements of our denim, you can find their respective sizing chart below the product name.

Our 35-inch inseam is consistent throughout our collection of J-shape silhouettes. The reason for the elongated inseam is to provide you with a one size inseam; your denim will naturally stack from the knee down, so you do not need to worry about the inseam. Whether you are an aspiring basketball player measuring 6’9” or 5’6”, you rest easy knowing your jeans will mold to your legs without the need to tailor them.

Depending on the fabric of each denim, you can expect different models to fit slightly different than their counterparts. Jones denim will fit more relaxed and feel stretchier than a Jameson denim, which is structured with raw denim. Our size guide will allow you to estimate those measurements and decide if a size up is a better option for you.

If you are still unsure about sizing, we’re available every day around the clock to help with any sizing questions.

We release new styles every month and sometimes we allow you to be among the first to reserve your pair ahead of an anticipated drop.  We make small runs for exclusive drops, so once placing your pre-order you are signing up to have a size put aside for you. Do not worry, we will keep you updated on the status of your pre-order. Once your AKINGS piece passes the final quality control phase, we will update you on the estimated delivery date. Because our pieces are often made in a small sample room, pre-orders typically take 4-6 weeks to arrive at your door from the day you place your order.

We appreciate your patience and early support.  Without your trust and continuous support, we would not be able to make our collections come to life.

We ship packages out every Monday and Friday by 5 PM.  If you placed an order after, your package will be sent out during the next shipping window; either Monday or Friday afternoon. You should also receive a tracking number after your order is ready to be shipped.  Please allow 24 hours before the tracking number is updated by the courier.

If for any reason you are not happy with the fit and feel of any of our pieces, we offer fast and easy exchanges. You don’t have to worry about the cost of a shipping label.  Email us with your:

  • Order Number
  • Full Name
  • The item you would like to exchange
  • The item size/ style you’d like to receive in exchange

Once we receive this information, our team will send over a return label for you to attach to your return package. After we’ve received to exchange, please allow 1-2 business days for your package to be successfully processed and shipped out by our team.

We are happy to offer international shipping around the world and often with this amazing option, duties and taxes are involved with the purchase of your AKINGS piece. Depending on the value of your package, you may be asked to pay a percentage of the cost of goods upon the arrival of your package.

If you are purchasing within the United States, you will not have to worry about import duties. We ship within the United States, so these specific taxes will not apply to your order. Although, certain state taxes may be applicable depending on your state’s local tax laws. These Taxes will be calculated for you at check out.

Due to the current ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, we have closed off our showroom to the public and transitioned into virtual showroom appointments.  Although you will not be able to try our denim on in person, our in-house stylist will walk you through the collection fits and sizing, so that you don’t have to worry about getting the wrong size. J-shape refers to a unique cut that curves from knee down to create a "J", this shape and added inseam allows the fabric to fall on your body in a way that creates a unique stacking look unlike any other jeans you've ever worn, you don’t have to worry about getting the wrong inseam. The J-shape naturally stacks at your legs without the hassle of tailoring them or worrying that your pants will be too short.
